WEEK 7 - SCIENTIFIC METHOD
There are six steps in the scientific method.
1. Defining the problem.
The scientific method starts with asking a question to find the problem that we observe.
2. Collecting information.
This is a step where we do a research background to gather the information in answering our question.
3. Making a hypothesis.
A hypothesis is an educated guess with an attempt in answering our question with a possible explanation that can be tested.
4. Doing experiments.
The experiment must be a fair test by making sure that only one factor changes all the time while keeping all the other conditions the same.
5. Observing and measuring.
We need to check and analyze the data whether it supports our hypothesis or not once the experiment is over.
6. Conclude.
We will make a conclusion based on the result that we get from our experiment and state if our hypothesis is supported or rejected.
